Augmented Reality
Definition
Augmented Reality (AR) takes digital or computer generated information, whether it be images, audio, video and/or touch or haptic sensations and overlays them in the real environment. AR allows the user to see the real world with superimposed virtual objects, thus created an augmented reality.
Features
Augmented Reality allows users to interact with their physical environment via technologies ranging from the simple - Global Positioning Systems (GPS) - to the complex - interactive eyewear or handheld devices that adjust the user's experience in response to location, gestures, and/or voice commands.
